This is a limited edition Gibson Les Paul Junior inspired and essentially created by John Lennon. The music that John Lennon and the Beatles made not only had to do with their amazing creativity and talent but also their equipment. This Gibson Les Paul Junior guitar is iconic in the image that we remember the legend and the original, so iconic, remains timeless in the John Lennon museum in Japan. Lennon loved to experiment with different equipment and adjust and hone his guitars. He approached the guitar making guru Ron DeMarino in the 1970′s to add a pickup made famous by Charlie Christian who he was a fan of. DeMarino at a later date also sanded down the burst style polish to give it that raw look. He also added a Tuno-O-Matic bridge and stop tailpiece to this Gibson Les Paul Junior and this piece of musical artwork was finished and ready to rock in the style Lennon envisioned.
